In a business environment, it's important that your email's display name represents you as a professional. For example, "PunkMusicFan" would not be an appropriate display name; instead, using your real name, such as Joey Ramone, gives your email a sense of professionalism before the recipient even opens it. If you find yourself needing to change your display name when using a Gmail email account, you can do so by navigating to the proper Settings option when accessing the account through a PC Web browser. There are no restrictions on how you're allowed to change your Gmail display name. Click the "Settings" icon, displayed in the shape of a gear, in the upper right corner of your Gmail account, and click "Settings" from the menu.
